Cyberpunk 2077 “Frame By Frame” Series Dives Into Night City’s Technology, Nightlife, And More

Cyberpunk 2077

We all remember seeing the gorgeous Cyberpunk 2077 trailer at the very end of Microsoft’s conference at this year’s E3. After all, how could anyone forget seeing the vibrant Night City that many have been waiting years to gaze upon?

That said, CD Projekt RED has been kind enough to put together the “Frame by Frame” series, which dives deeper into the trailer seen above and gives fans more details about each, well… frame. More like a particular frame out of each sequence, but you get the idea. The first couple episodes can be seen right here. However, let’s jump into the latest dissected frames from CDPR. First up, Episode 05 shows us the child that was playing with what looks to be a VR setup.

“In 2077, technology has become omnipresent,” the description starts off with. “It’s used to automatize industry, bombard the masses with incessant advertising, replace human flesh and bone with circuitry and steel, and the list goes on.”

“While cheap electronic devices and services are available to even some of the poorest members of society, most cannot afford to buy the newest toys or replace broken equipment. As a result, from a young age many learn to improvise and work with discarded scrap to make repairs, to build their own diversions, to craft their own weapons.”

Episode 06 dives directly into the nightlife scene. As one might imagine, there’s quite a lot to do within Night City. It’s “a diverse place with people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and cultures.”

According to the post, “As a result, there’s an array of nightlife establishments, each with their own appealing theme and atmosphere. Some Night City bars have a distinct old-school vibe, which is why, in the trailer, we spot a familiar sight — a classic style pool table that’s been retrofitted with minor technological enhancements.”

It’s great to see CDPR diving into the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer the way that they are. Since we won’t be playing the game for quite some time, we’ll take all of the information we can get. In other related news, Cyberpunk 2020 creator Mike Pondsmith recently spoke about the first-person perspective that is used in the upcoming game. You can read more about that right here.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive in the future for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we absorb every last detail about this game, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
