Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Officially Revealed (VIDEO)
Ever since CD Projekt RED “hacked” their way into the end of Microsoft’s E3 2018 presentation, fans have been craving every last piece of Cyberpunk 2077 information available. Select attendees were able to see the game’s demo behind closed doors, as was the case at the recent Gamescom event in Germany. That said, the day has finally arrived: CDPR has officially revealed gameplay to the world, and it is magnificent.
Taking to popular streaming platform Twitch, CDPR broadcast the demo that was revealed at previous events. This, of course, was after nine hours of footage that showed what we can only assume was completely random data. Anyway, you can read more about our thoughts on the E3 demo right here. The video takes players on the journey of V, the game’s main protagonist, and her various encounters with the residents of Night City. Check it out for yourself below:
We’ve been learning a bounty of details since E3 back in June, but this is the one fans have been waiting for. We now get to see parts of the trailer come to life. The Trauma Team is seen reviving some of Night City’s finest, we see the implementation of the technology that is used in the futuristic city, and so much more.
Another wonderful thing is being able to finally see the first-person view shown off. Sure, gamers already know what first-person looks like, but when it was announced that a role-playing game from one of the best RPG developers in the world would be bringing the perspective to their highly-anticipated title, well, fans became a bit worried. Luckily, the gameplay is proving that there is absolutely nothing to be concerned for. CDPR has got our backs.
We don’t exactly have a release date as of yet, but expect it to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at some point in the next few years. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
