Chrono Trigger And Chrono Cross Soundtracks Now Available To Stream
Earlier this year, Square Enix made the seemingly out of nowhere announcement that every single Final Fantasy OST had been added to Spotify and Apple Music. Brought to you by composers Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Yoko Shimomura, the massive music drop also included numerous remix variants, as well as the OSTs from other things such as Dissidia Final Fantasy and The Spirits Within. Now, it looks like Square Enix’s presence on music streaming platforms is growing even more, as the OSTs for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are now available to stream.
The news comes by way of Square Enix Music, which recently sent out a tweet (in Japanese) announcing the arrival of the two classic titles on streaming platforms. While the tweet seems to have only been sent out in Japanese, the English versions of Spotify have also received the music.
pic.twitter.com/3HWoZDiuk9

Those looking to hunt down the soundtracks on Spotify need only search for the game titles: Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. If for some reason you are still having difficulty finding them, an alternative is to search for composer Yasunori Mitsuda. It is unknown what caused the delayed arrival of these soundtracks, though it also gives us hope that some lesser known Square Enix games may also get their soundtracks placed onto Spotify. Brave Fencer Musashi, anyone?
