Child Of Light II May Have Been Teased By Ubisoft Developer
The well-received and beautifully crafted Child of Light may get a follow-up. Ubisoft developer Patrick Plourde at the Montreal base took to social media to tease a few juicy details on the future of the perfectly ethereal adventure. Following the announcement of Child of Light Ultimate Edition and Valiant Hearts heading to the Nintendo Switch this Fall, Plourde may have subtly hinted at a sequel.
It doesn’t take a keen eye to see the subtle hint, but it certainly takes looking! Plourde reveals Child of Light being played on the Nintendo Switch on Twitter, but the scattered papers behind the device reveal much more. Seen in the image below, the upper-right corner reads “…Light II.” Make of that what you will, but what other Ubisoft title has the word “light” at the end and a solid fanbase awaiting a sequel?
Sorry for the long silence. But we have this little thing up and running 🙂 #childoflight #switch pic.twitter.com/M6k1xoXX8F

The image shared by Plourde all, but confirms Child of Light II and it may be sometime before official news emerges from the woodwork. The real question is: does that mean Child of Light II will arrive on the Nintendo Switch as well? It will likely become available for various other platforms just like the original title. It’s all about accessibility!
