Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Adds Operator Nikto In New Update (VIDEO)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Nikto

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare recently introduced the title’s very first season, bringing with it what developers describe as the biggest free content drop in the franchise’s history; and there is indeed a lot of content. Players have already been introduced to a new Battle Pass, giving players a new in-game store and the chance to earn fresh weapons and cosmetics. As previously shown off, the season was also set to launch two new Operators: Mara and Nikto. Mara previously went live as an unlockable, while the masked Nikto was sadly unavailable to collect in any manner–at least until now.

A new Activision blog post has now detailed the new additions featured in the game’s recent update. In addition to the roster update, new maps are on the way that fans will no doubt recognize. Shipment and Vacant from the original Modern Warfare join the game alongside the recent addition of Crash, which also featured in the 2007 title. Gunfight map Docks is also getting a bit of a Holiday reimagining, the area getting a jolly reskin with the arrival of a new store bundle that provides fans with quite a few festive items. A rundown of the update can be viewed in the trailer below.

Of course, Nikto has also joined Mara in being added to the game, the character previously appearing in the Allegiance Operator roster without a way to obtain him. However, Nikto can now be purchased from the in-game store, the Operator available as a part of the Nikto Operator Bundle. Featuring the character, the pack also contains quite a few cosmetics to enjoy and will run fans 2400 CoD Points or roughly $20 USD.
