Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Rating Discovered
Infinity Ward’s release of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare reboot has proven successful since releasing last year, producing thrilling new single-player and multiplayer campaigns in addition to the recent add-on of Warzone battle royale. All this has seemingly been lieu of Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, a long-rumored re-release of the popular shooter sequel from 2009. Following recent reports that the game may finally be on the way, a new rating has now been discovered, adding even more hype to the fire.
As recently seen on Reddit (via Prima Games), a listing for a single-player campaign for Modern Warfare 2 Remastered was discovered over on the South Korean Game Rating And Administration Committee website. According to the site, the game was submitted by Activision Blizzard at the end of February, with the committee finalizing an adult-recommended 18+ rating on the same date. Check it out below.

The site makes no mention of a potential release date, but the rating’s very existence may suggest Activision has plans to release MW2 Remastered sometime soon. This particular entry has proven to be very popular with fans, as demonstrated back in 2018 when the 2009 title’s backward compatibility re-release for Xbox One memorably pushed it back into the top ten best-selling games across all platforms.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered was seemingly all set to release back a few years ago with retail leaks and gameplay details all-but-signalling the game landing in the players’ laps. Unfortunately, as this isn’t the first time Modern Warfare 2 has found itself the subject of leaks, it’s probably best to take this recent development with a grain of salt. If the game is indeed coming soon, then it shouldn’t be long until Activision finally gives fans the news they’ve been waiting for.
