Breath Of The Wild Mod Expands Hyrule With NPC’s, Quests And More (VIDEO)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been occupying the attention and time of gamers for four years now, and it continues to be one of the best games available for the Nintendo Switch. While sadly, it seems that it will be still a bit of a wait for fans to get their hands on the sequel to Breath of the Wild, Nintendo still has other projects for Zelda fans to occupy their time. However, some of these fans have opted to make their own creations to bide time, such as the fans that created a Breath of the Wild mod the size of a full expansion.
As reported by Game Informer, a group of fan modders created the new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild mod, as seen on YouTube. Titled Second Wind, the mod is the size of an expansion, and adds numerous new features and pieces to the game. With over 50 people working on this mod, quests, weapons, NPCs and enemies now further populate the already bustling world of Hyrule.
This Breath of the Wild mod also expands upon the systems already in the game, and adds some original ones of its own. For instance, the shopping systems now allows for cooked items to be purchased, and for individual ingredients to be purchased as well. There’s also a new crafting system for making and upgrading weapons and other items. The mod also updates the game’s shrines, so veteran players can find new experiences and challenges from the shrines in the game.
This mod has been a labor of love for quite a while now, and interested players can join the official Discord for the mod to get the latest updates on development progress for the mod. Second Wind is quite a gas, I must say.
