Brand New Star Wars: Rogue One Video Showcases Rebel Fighter Captain Cassian Andor (VIDEO)

The time is almost here but just to tide us over, the minds behind the latest flick in the Star Wars franchise, Rogue One, are bringing fans a brand new video spot to showcase the new film. This spotlight’s focus? The indomitable Captain Cassian Andor, rebel fighter and all around badass.

During this spot, we get to have backstage access through the eyes of Deigo Luna, the man behind Andor. From traveling to the tropical planet Scarif, or just other backstage shenanigans, this latest spot gives a new level of hype for Rogue One making it that much harder to wait for its release. Check out the video below and see for yourself:

So who is Captain Cassion Andor? He’s an intricate part of the team of rebels that embark on a journey to “tactfully retrieve” (steal, we mean steal) the plans of the Death Star. Because why not? Jyn Erso, played by Felicity Jones, designed the Death Star while under the regime of Director Orson Krennic – a prominent leader in the advanced weapons department while in the Imperial military. He’s also the leader of this group.

“An accomplished Alliance Intelligence officer with combat field experience, Captain Cassian Andor commands respect from his Rebel troops with his ability to keep a cool head under fire and complete his missions with minimal resources.”

If you’re just as hyped as we are about the latest Star Wars film, you definitely need to check out these previous teasers and highlight videos to keep you amped until release:

Tickets are available for purchase NOW and will be hitting theaters December 16, just in time for the holidays.
