Borderlands 3 Main Story Features 30 Hours Of Gameplay “If You Beeline It”
On May 1st, Gearbox Software launched the official reveal of Borderlands 3 for all fans to see. Complete with gameplay trailer, character profiles, and other juicy bits of information, there’s tons to get excited for when the sequel arrives this Fall. In addition to their exclusion of lootboxes, instanced loot, co-op level scaling, and a stellar gameplay trailer, the main story of Borderlands 3 will feature at least 30 hours of gameplay. That is, “if you beeline it.”
“If you beeline it through, and I mean beelining it through,” Sage tells PC Gamer. “It might take you 30 hours to complete the main story.” With that said, most players won’t be “beelining” through the main story of Borderlands 3. If you’re a fan of enjoying all the side missions, brand new content, and epic-level loot, the upcoming sequel will likely take much longer than that. If you’re a fan of any of the previous games, you’ll likely contribute the same amount of hours.
Based on reveals thus far, Borderlands 3 will have a horde of new characters to discover and a chance for players to reacquaint themselves with familiar faces. Seven years will have passed since the last game launched, so if you need to catch up on the story so far, check out a friendly video recap here.
