BioWare’s Anthem Reveals 20 Minutes Of New Gameplay Footage (VIDEO)
We’ve been promised the goods…and by goods, we mean gameplay footage. Earlier this October, BioWare head of global communication Andrew Johnson, let slip that the developers were hard at work putting together “something to show soon-ish.” How soon? Well, just in time for the 2018 Paris Games Week in fact and an entire twenty minutes of open world exploration, combat, and more. From the looks of it, this action role-playing game is coming along like smooth, spreadable butter.
Thank to YouTube channel Daiki Style Gaming, who recorded the entire Anthem livestream event during Paris Games Week 2018, a whole lot more just unveiled for the next BioWare title. Though the developers have shown us teasers of gameplay footage in the past, this shows off a few different features never before seen. Check it out below:
As a sucker for fantastic visual and particle effects, that alone has me giddy. From the abilities of each Javelin suit, the relatively free-form combat system, to the vast open world – it’s certainly a game I’m excited for. The change to play with other like-minded folks and fans of BioWare, what’s there not to love for a science-fiction RPG?
Any thoughts on the live gameplay show seen above? Are there features that BioWare should prioritize tackling before release, or do you think the game will come together in due time?
