Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct Announced

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct Announced

With the release of Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roughly one month away, excitement for the upcoming brawler game is reaching an all-time high as fans have begun counting down the days until they can get their hands on their favorite characters. Although the majority of the pertinent information about the game was presumably already revealed, the Big N has announced that a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct presentation will air next month.

The news comes by way of Nintendo’s Twitter account, which sent out a tweet announcing the presentation earlier this morning. In addition to the date and time reveal, Nintendo is also promising that the presentation will “feature approximately 40 minutes of new information on the game.” Check out the tweet below:

The announcement of a 40 minute long Nintendo Direct presentation that focuses solely on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate of course begs the question, what do they have left to announce? We already know that the game will feature a roster larger than any of the previous Smash games that have come before, so what’s left is likely some potential story mode info, as well as the potential reveal of a fan favorite character that has yet to be announced for the game.

Thankfully, we need only wait two more days to hear what the Big N has to say about its upcoming game, and from there it is only a 36 day wait until the title’s release, but who’s counting?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate arrives on Nintendo Switch on December 7, 2018.
