Golf Story is a new sports role-playing game released for the Nintendo Switch. It’s quickly becoming a breakout hit for the console drawing a lot of attention. Of course, the game is also drawing quite a bit of attention for another less positive reason as well. Numerous issues are being reported including one Golf Story bug that is game ruining, forcing players to start all over from scratch.

Multiple reddit threads abound in an attempt to understand the major bug and warn others of the glitch that may occur. When a player saves in the Tidy Park Clubhouse and returns to the game, they become incredibly tiny. The bug sized glitches makes players unable to return to their original size, interact with NPCs, and left without the ability to move their character to the left. Players are even able to walk up walls and the blacked out portions of the area. It looks fairly silly and under any other circumstances it would funny, but since players are putting in q considerable amount of time into the game, the game breaking glitch is a very serious matter.

Up until this point there has been no workaround or fix found by players, leaving those affected by the Golf Story bug to start a new save file. Of course, this means losing all the progress made to that point, which can be very frustrating. This could be enough to turn many fans away from the game, especially with similar titles wanting to draw attention to themselves as well such as Stardew Valley.

For now, there’s been no word from Sidebar Games as to when the bug will be resolved. Because the bug is very problematic, hopefully they’ll be able to fix it soon.
