Bethesda Responds to Fallout 76 Player's Plea To Not Ban Them After Glitching Into Sealed Vault 63

Fallout 76, as with most Bethesda games, has its own fair share of bugs and glitches that makes the post-apocalyptic environment just a little bit more dangerous than usual. One player recently managed to stumble upon one of these bugs, but instead of delivering him to certain death, he was instead swooped away to an area that is currently inaccessible to the public: Vault 63. Fearing the ban hammer from Bethesda for gaining access to a restricted area, the player reached out in a recent post on Reddit explaining the situation, while also sharing some pictures he took during the experience.

The good news is, Bethesda seems to have been pretty lenient this time around, which is great since it wasn’t the player’s fault to begin with. “Glad to hear you got in and out of the Vault in one piece,” responded JessBethesda.

These Vaults are still under construction, but we look forward to sharing more on how they will become part of the game. In the meantime, we also appreciate when players like yourself let us know about stuff like this. We have shared with the team and will let you know if we have any follow up questions. Thank you!”

As mentioned above, the player managed to get themselves out of the Vault, and Bethesda seems to have no interest in banning or penalizing the player at all, which means that we get to appreciate all these pictures from Vault 63 guilt-free!. Check ’em out here if you’re interested.

Fallout 76 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
