Battlefield V: New Marita Map Revealed At EA Play 2019 (VIDEO)
Earlier this week, Electronic Arts and DICE revealed Battlefield V – Chapter 4: Defying the Odds with an action-packed gameplay trailer. The team will be rolling out various new maps to be released throughout the Summer beginning June 27th. Players will see a brand new map this month in Al Sundan, Marita the following month, and two other close-quarter combat maps in August in Provence and Lofoten Islands. Then at EA Play 2019, the developers showed off one of the upcoming maps – Marita. Check it out below:
With sloping mountains and narrow streets to bring on unpredictable and challenging encounters, players will continue the Battle of Greece in Marita since the launch of Mercury. “Marita is an infantry-focused map, where all four soldier classes will be able to shine,” says DICE. “Tanks and aircraft will stand aside for intense infantry gunfights and sneaky flanks in the cobbled streets. We look forward to letting you tackle this vertical environment as the Battle of Greece rages on.”
