Gearbox and 2K Games has released a new DLC for Battleborn, trying desperately to keep up with all of the Overwatch hype. For those of you with a season pass, you may already know that Battleborn has released a new DLC. If you don’t have the pass, fret not, the add-on titled “Toby’s Friendship Raid” can be purchased in the games marketplace for 700 platinum.

The latest story from Battleborn has players recovering Toby’s “death-dealing” mechanical suit. Players will have to fight through LLC manufacturing facilities, wrought with enemies and dangerous traps.The DLC promises rewards for players, which includes Faction Commander Pack unlocks, skins, and taunts to add more fun to your game play.

There was also a teaser for the next Hero of Battleborn, a former scientist by the name of Beatrix (pictured above). She has mechanical wings and also has a debuffing syringe arm to use on enemies. The hero doesn’t have a release date set as of yet, but she is expected to be released in the next few months. Beatrix doesn’t have a release date set as of yet, but she is expected to be playable within the next few months. She will be available for 47,500 credits, or can be unlocked with a hero key.

Free competitive mulitplayer mode and more story DLC are planned to be released, including “Oscar Mike Vs. Battle School”. Details for the upcoming content is sparse however, though players can expect to hear more soon. Oscar Mike comes just in time for the release of all Battleborn Characters being available for free over the weekend. So now’s a great time to dig in and jump on the new raid or to hop on the Battleborn bandwagon all together.
