This article is completely full of spoilers for Batman #24 so continue reading at your own risk! In the latest issue of the DC Batman comic, Bane has been taken care of after he attempted to take over Gotham City and threatened Batman’s family and friends. The whole ordeal makes Batman emotional and even after restoring sanity to Gotham Girl and saving the day, he still contemplates his life and realizes that he isn’t happy. This leads us to the sweetest scene ever when Batman proposes to the one and only Catwoman.

In the comic, Batman chases down Catwoman across the rooftops of Gotham and once he catches her, he begins to tell her about the night they first met. Catwoman aka Selina Kyle had stolen a diamond on that particular night and he reveals that he didn’t exactly return it to the owners, he had actually bought it from them. Then, as you can see in the gallery below, he pulls that diamond out, gets down on one knee, and we all look on in awe as Batman proposes to Catwoman.

These two lovebirds have had their ups and down and on again off agains, but this is better by far! What if she says yes? What if she says no? That is exactly the reaction the writer Tom King was trying to get out of the fans.

I want people to go home and be like, ‘Should she marry him? Should she say yes?’ There’s a whole conversation that could come out of this.”
