Baldur’s Gate 3 Officially Announced (VIDEO)
Some teases have been popping up on Larian Studios’ website over the past week or so, and with E3 right around the corner, many were expecting something pertaining to said teases to arrive then. Well, they got ahead of all of the hype, as Baldur’s Gate 3 was officially announced during the Google Stadia press conference.
Many fans were already expecting an announcement to be made at some point in the near future, but the day has finally arrived. Baldur’s Gate 3 is being developed by Divinity: Original Sin 2 devs Larian Studios, and will be the next adventure in the wildly popular RPG series. In addition to the announcement, a teaser trailer was also revealed, and it is sure to get any fan of the franchise hyped for what is to come. Check it out for yourself below:
“Developed by the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2, Baldur’s Gate III is the official next adventure in the venerable Baldur’s Gate series,” reads the description provided with the above video. “The teaser trailer shows a return of a malevolent presence to Baldur’s Gate, intent on devouring it from the inside out, corrupting everything that remains in the Forgotten Realms. The fate of the Forgotten Realms lies in your hands.”
