Baby Yoda Life-Size Hot Toys Figure Officially Revealed

As Star Wars fans patiently await the next season of The Mandalorian, Lucasfilms and team are doing their best to whet appetites with merchandise of none other than the adorable baby Yoda! The pint-size trouble magnet is yours to have with a life-size release from Hot Toys. Complete with interchangeable ears, hands, and more, photographers and Star Wars fans can live out their dreams of having baby Yoda in their charge is one step closer to reality.

The images above are courtesy of Hot Toys showcasing the realistic (or as realistic as it can be considering baby Yoda isn’t real) figure of the sweet, sweet green child. It features 7 points of articulation, stands at approximately 36 centimeters tall, three pairs of interchangeable arms, and two pairs of interchangeable ears as well. The remarkable details are all thanks to the talented sculptors and artists Ji Ho Lee and JC Hong.

The Hot Toys website describes the life-size baby yoda, “The hyper realistic and articulated collectible figure is meticulously crafted based on the appearance of the Child in The Mandalorian. Standing at approximately 40cm tall, this collectible figure features an amazing likeness with riveting fine details, 2 pairs of interchangeable ears, movable head and arms, skillfully tailored outfit, a silver knob from the Razor Crest™ ship that the young alien loves to hold, a Mythosaur emblem necklace, and a variety of interchangeable hands to pose or hold the items allowing fans to recreate iconic moments from the highly acclaimed live-action series!”

Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with the pod that baby Yoda floats around. Who knows, maybe down the line a crafty Star Wars fan will take it upon themselves to fashion one up? With these quarantine conditions combined with the power of boredom – anything is possible!
