Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Receives New Live-Action TV Spot (VIDEO)
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s release is quickly approaching and developers are beginning to send out a new wave of material to boost hype for the title. A new live-action trailer has arrived and it shows off some of the conflict within Odyssey, setting the stage for player’s Spartan hero to take the stage as one blessed by the Gods.
The trailer begins with a live-action portion featuring chaos within a Greek city. Invaders have besieged the city and the camera scrolls past the scene as viewers bear witness to the faces of screaming mothers, grieving families, bodies of the dead, and even a quick image of a Gorgon overwhelming her prey.
A lone Spartan hero stands face to face with one of the invaders, and audio goes silent for a moment in which a voice speaks, “The Gods are with you.” Here the Spartan gives his foe a kick that knocks the enemy to the ground as the hero begins his assault on the invaders. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set to arrive on October 5th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The game hopes to be bigger and better than ever before, surpassing even Assassin’s Creed Origins.
