Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry 5, and More Coming Soon From Ubisoft!

Far Cry 5

Ubisoft fans, hold onto your seats! The gaming company has officially unveiled that they will be churning out four new titles to the market this coming year, including a brand new Assassin’s Creed title, Far Cry 5, The Crew 2 and a return to South Park: The Fractured But Whole after its previous two delays. Stated in their latest fiscal year earnings, these four titles will release during the 2017-2018 fiscal year, so expect to see those titles releasing any time up to March 31, 2018. South Park: The Fractured But Whole and The Crew 2 are also set to return around this time-frame as well.

For fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, no word on exactly what the title will be about has been released yet. However, a post on the Assassin’s Creed Reddit account may have revealed a snapshot of the scenery early. This leak hints that the title may possibly be set in Egypt, while at the same time a post on Assassin’s Creed UK’s Twitter hints that this will be a time period during with the game series has not previously explored yet. With these two bits of information, it looks as if the assumption may be correct, and we may see confirmation from Ubisoft in the near future.

Around the same time, a post on Ubisoft’s forum has also revealed the title image for the upcoming Far Cry 5. Right now, it is only a simple logo, with no discerning features about it, but it does confirm for sure that gamers will be stepping back into the throes of another wild adventure in this franchise. A previous rumor that the latest title would be set in Montana has already circulated the web, though no confirmation has been given from developers just yet.
