Huge Sony Announcements Promised For Paris Games Week

Huge Sony Announcements

With 2017 coming to an end, it means that gaming companies are making their final push to announce and market upcoming titles. While awards shows are going to be in full swing shortly, Paris Games Week is ready to kick off with a bang. While the event will run from November 1 – 5, the PlayStation team is getting a head start on the competition. Huge Sony announcements have been promised for the company’s Media Showcase on Monday, October 30.

Beginning at 9am PT, with the event’s pre-show starting an hour earlier, fans can only assume that some highly-anticipated titles will be making an appearance. In a recent blog post, Sony states that 21 game updates and seven new game announcements for the PS4 and PS VR will appear in the pre-show. Likening it to the second coming of E3, Sony’s Media Showcase is sure to feature the likes of God of War, Days Gone, Spider-Man, the Shadow of the Colossus remake, and Detroit: Become Human.

If fans are lucky, some of those huge Sony announcements might even be about the Final Fantasy VII remake, The Last of Us: Part 2, or possibly Death Stranding. However, Hideo Kojima could likely be waiting until the Video Game Awards to present new footage on his new studio’s freshman title.

Then again, with Sony touting that “E3 was only half the story,” unannounced titles could always be part of the event, surprising fans everywhere. Either way, something big is coming out of the blue camp, and we can’t wait to see what it is.
