Apex Legends Implementing Report Feature Soon

Apex Legends

Apex Legends is the new kid on the block and Fortnite has successfully been placed on simmer. Instead of following the mainstream route of announcing a game and gradually building up the hype, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts decided to pull a fast one on gamers and launch it and wish for the best. Boy, did they impress. Despite the wave of recognition, there’s still plenty of improvements to be had and the next item on the list – a report feature.

Taking a quick glance at Reddit, there’s no shortage of requests from Apex Legends players. As a matter of fact,  well-known Twitch streamer, who goes by the alias Dr DisRespect, voiced his concerns on hackers as well. According to Dexerto, he sent out an urgent message to the developers. “I got to send an alert out right now,” stated Dr DisRespect. “Alert Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts, creators of Madden, alert alert alert: Your hackers are thriving in your brand new Apex Legends game right now. It’s a virus. We got to shut em down. Alert.”

In response to the overwhelming feedback, Apex Legends community manager Lee Horn weighed in. Soon another community manager Jay Frechette (AKA Jayfresh_Respawn) will reveal details on how the team plans on tackling the issue. “A more detailed post about cheating is coming,” said Horn. “So I don’t want to steal Jay’s thunder, but a reporting feature is definitely on the way.”

Neither of the two community managers divulge when the news will come, but soon can’t come soon enough when it comes to silencing hackers for some. For the time being, it’s going to take some patience and lucky draws during match queues.
