Apex Legends Tip Reveals How To Weapon Switch Faster

Fighting enemy players in Apex Legends is extremely exhilarating, though oftentimes the outcome is decided by relatively small factors, with even a player’s level of shotgun bolt having its own say on who lives and who dies. As such, it is important to be as efficient as possible, and that means cutting down on the time it takes for you to do even some of the more mundane player actions available to you. Thankfully, there are plenty of players out there that have plenty of hot tips to share, like some newly revealed info on how to make weapon switching faster.

The tip comes by way of Reddit user ManishBH73, who discovered a simple trick to make weapon switching much faster than it normally is. Switching weapons is typically a fairly slow and cumbersome endeavor if the player’s hand animations are any indication, though according to ManishBH73, the time can be cut down by simply crouching. The user’s post was accompanied by a small clip showing the tip in action:

As seen in the clip above (click the link if it doesn’t work), the slow hand animation basically disappears if the player presses crouch at the right time. Granted, this can take a while to master, especially the part where you actually remember to do it when you’re fighting someone, though shaving an extra second or so off of switching to a fully loaded weapon can make all the difference in the world.

Apex Legends is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
