Animal Crossing New Horizons Commercial

2020 has officially begun, and the year holds many promising new games and experiences. For Nintendo Switch owners, perhaps the biggest title confirmed for the new year that has fans most excited is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The title is promising an interesting new spin on the Animal Crossing experience, taking it to a new island for the player to inhabit and develop. Nintendo has released the new Japanese Animal Crossing: New Horizons commercial on their official Japanese Nintendo YouTube channel. The commercial shows Tom Nook and sons giving a presentation to numerous Animal Crossing characters in a theater. Nook tries to pitch the benefits of moving to his island for residence, to which the crowd responds with overwhelming interest. The commercial then shows gameplay clips before showing the game’s release date of March 20th, as well as unveiling the official game box art.

The box art for the game features Tom Nook and sons, Isabelle and two villagers at their camp site residence on their island. The game, while presenting new locations and features, seems to hold true to the series’ usual form, and hopefully that means it will attract the biggest audience possible. Even if that means so many precious bells will go to that greedy capitalist Tom Nook.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons releases on March 20 for Nintendo Switch.
