Twitter user Wario64 has shared their recent findings of a leaked Alan Wake remastered listing on their official Twitter account. Retail site Rakuten Taiwan has listed the remastered version of the game on their site. What is most interesting about the listing is that it shows the game will be released for the current Xbox consoles, as well as the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This would be unique as it would mark the first time that the Alan Wake series has been brought to PlayStation consoles, as the series is now owned by Microsoft.
The Alan Wake Remastered version according to this listing will launch on October 5th. It is not yet known if the game will offer any additional content not included with the original version, but this would be a nice way for the series to introduce itself to new audiences on PlayStation that it previously had not been able to reach. The series has endeared itself with its fans, and with a supposed sequel on the horizon, this is a great opportunity to re-awaken the franchise.
