WATCH: New Agony Trailer Features The Red Goddess And Her Minions

New Agony Story Trailer Too NSFW To Show You, But We Totally Will (VIDEO)

Agony is summing up to be one of the more interesting titles we’ve ever heard of. The upcoming title is a survival-horror game by Madmind Studio, and the imagery we’ve seen thus far regarding the game leaves no question in our minds why the developer studio named itself such. Madmind promised to deliver a new look at the game on Christmas Eve, and they absolutely delivered with an all-new Agony trailer featuring the Red Goddess. Check it out below:

As seen in the Agony trailer, the Red Goddess represents the goal of all souls looking to escape hell. The trailer features a close-up look at her, with the scene getting more and more chaotic as the camera pulls back, slowly revealing the enormous multitude of hell denizens scrambling to reach her. Though the trailer doesn’t feature any gameplay, it certainly gets its point across; the Red Goddess is in charge here, and even if you manage to gain an audience with her, things may not go your way. Check out the official blurb about Agony below:

You will begin your journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell, without any memories about your past.

The special ability to control people on your path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives you the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions you are in.

By exploring the hostile environment and interacting with other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require meeting the mystical Red Goddess.”

Agony is releasing on March 30, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. At the time of writing, the game’s Kickstarter campaign has shattered its goal, reaching almost 3x the original goal of CA $66,666. So, thoughts on the latest Agony trailer?
