Call Of Duty: Blackout Adding New Alcatraz Map Later This Month (VIDEO)
A brand new Call of Duty 4: Black Ops 4 Blackout map is headed your way and it’s completely free. “Hand-crafted” for the Blackout experience, Alcatraz features plenty of zombies to dip, dive, and dodge around as 10 teams of four fight to reach the top as the last-man standing. Not unlike “Down But Not Out,” this new installment features a game-changing respawn feature. Every 30 seconds up to a maximum of five times, players can jump back in the game to deal some damage without having to wait for the walls to come crashing in. What would make that better? Zombies, and there’s plenty of them. Check out the action-packed trailer below:
In Call of Duty: Blackout’s latest map, Alcatraz brings a massive battlefield for 40 players to duke it out, and with undead adversaries around every corner – it’ll be one of the toughest challenges yet! At the beginning of each game, teams will be deployed above a random area on the map via portal. From there, players can take advantage of wall buys which spawn a different weapon every thirty seconds.
Despite its small size, there’s a lot of nooks and crannies to explore in Alcatraz, especially the Cell House. Regardless of your personal play style, the new map features various modes of transportation. Will you choose to sneak up hill to gain a height advantage via tram, meander your way up the side by way of stairs, or perhaps skip it all and climb the rock walls? The new Alcatraz map is available now for PlayStation 4 players and arriving soon for Xbox One and PC.
