Many gamers in possession of both an Xbox One and a PC have wondered why they haven’t been able to play their PC games through their Xbox One. Thankfully, this is no longer the case thanks to a brand new Microsoft app that lets users do just that, and more. Microsoft’s newly released Wireless Display app is now available for free, and its casting technology lets users not only play PC games through their Xbox One using their controller, but also allows users to mirror their Android games so their friends can watch.

Here’s the breakdown of what the app can do courtesy of Microsoft:

• Instantly share photos you’ve just taken with family and friends without having the photos sync through a cloud service.
• Share video clips you’ve recorded with family and friends
• Project your favorite websites with Microsoft Edge to the biggest screen in your house
• Mirror your Android games to your TV so your friends can watch
• Play your PC games on your Xbox while using the Xbox controller as a gamepad
• Use your PC on your Xbox One and use the Xbox controller as a mouse/keyboard

One important caveat is that the app will not project protected content from streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. There’s a little bit of a setup involved, though the full breakdown can be seen by Tom Warren in the below Twitter post:
