Monster Hunter Movie Starring Milla Jovovich Gets A Release Date
With the production of Paul W.S. Anderson’s Monster Hunter movie, which stars Resident Evil actress Milla Jovovich, many fans have been wondering when we’ll be seeing the project on the big screen. Thanks to recent confirmation from Sony Pictures, we know exactly when to grab the popcorn.
Per Deadline, Sony revealed that the Monster Hunter movie based on the hit video game franchise will be hitting theaters near the end of summer 2020. For those unaware, here’s what the upcoming film is all about:
“Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, revolting attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back.”
The Monster Hunter movie also features an all-star cast, which includes the likes of Ron Perlman, Meagan Good, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Tony Jaa, and more. Anderson is directing and writing the upcoming film as well as producing alongside Dennis Berard, Robert Kulzer, Martin Moszkowicz, and Jeremy Bolt.
