Anthem Livestream Showcases Fort Tarsis, Player Dialogue Options (VIDEO)

With the air date of The Game Awards 2018 quickly approaching, fans are eagerly waiting with anticipation for the new Anthem trailer set to debut during the show. In the meantime, BioWare has released an Anthem livestream that shows off the Fort Tarsis location, while also highlighting some of the dialogue options players will have access to during the game.

As some may already know, Fort Tarsis represents the central player hub for the game, which is likely part of the reason why BioWare chose to showcase the location so heavily during its livestream. The first half of the livestream features Lead Producer Mike Gamble exploring some of the areas within the Fort Tarsis, though the entire location is not yet available to reveal to the public.

After exploring Fort Tarsis, Mike Gamble then heads to the Forge to talk with Zoe (pronounced Zoh), a mechanic who helps keep the player’s Javelin maintained and ready for combat. Upon initiating contact with Zoe, the player is given a few basic dialogue options to keep the conversation going. It is currently unknown as to the actual depth of the dialogue wheel system, though hopefully we’ll have a few more options than what we’re seeing at this point of the game’s development.

The livestream unfortunately suffered from a few technical difficulties, though what we saw was enough to reveal BioWare’s dedication to its new IP, and it will be interesting to see how the trailer looks when December 6 rolls around.

Anthem launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 22, 2019.
