SoulCalibur VI Adds 2B From Nier: Automata To The Roster (VIDEO)
SoulCalibur VI had already become a hot spring of hype with its inclusion of The Witcher‘s Geralt of Rivia as a sword-slashing playable character, and further went on to spoil players with a lovely array of custom-created fighters. With Bandai Namco’s release of the latest SoulCalibur game, a new contended has now been recruited in the never-ending battle with Soul Edge.
Shown off in a new trailer, the character 2B from Square Enix’s Nier: Automata has been announced as the next crossover fighter to enter the weapon-based brawler. Sporting her signature enemy-slicing blades, 2B, a.k.a. “YoRHa No. 2 Type B,” can be seen utilizing her extreme agility and machine-accurate slashes to dominate in battle. Mission: eliminate hostile entity known as Soul Edge. 2B from Nier: Automata joins the battle of souls and swords in Soulcalibur 6! Wielding her signature swords, the combat android will keep on fighting until her task is completed. Coming soon!”
Along with the character’s availability in the roster, 2B will also bring with her a set of additional themed items including weapons, music, stickers, and what appears to be a stage based on the Machine Village location from Nier: Automata. Also, calm down everyone, 2B’s revealing Kaine outfit is back too.
Another SoulCalibur VI crossover character is sure to excite fans, especially one as gloriously off-the-wall as 2B. However, fans had already been in the midst of devising their own universal collisions with the game’s character-creator mode. Third-party fighters such as Dragon Age’s Hawke, The Witcher’s Ciri, and even the internet’s favorite ogre Shrek have all headed into blade-clashing battle. 2B herself had also been introduced through previous fan-means, but we’ll have an official version on the way soon.
All 2Bs are precious. Even the CACs.
