Undertale Nintendo Switch Release Date, Collector’s Edition Revealed
One of the biggest success stories in indie gaming last generation was Undertale, created by Toby Fox. The game became a massive hit on PC, and over the years since its release it has come to other platforms. Given the game’s retro art style and relatively simple gameplay mechanics, it seemed like a natural fit for the Nintendo Switch. The indie title was confirmed in the March Nintendo Direct to have a Switch version in the works, but no release date was given. That silence has been broken, as both the release date and collector’s edition of the Undertale Nintendo Switch version have been revealed.
UNDERTALE will be releasing for Nintendo Switch in September in all regions!!! (Exact date still forthcoming!!!)
Obviously you can download the game on release, but if you wanted to pre-order the physical collector's edition, do it here on Fangamer.

Undertale creator Toby Fox used his official Twitter account to confirm that the Undertale Nintendo Switch version is scheduled to be released this coming September. The quirky game and its land of monsters will finally be available for Nintendo Switch owners looking to play the game on the go. While a specific release date has not been given yet, pre-orders are available for the new port and Undertale merchandise can be purchased, all through Fangamer. As an added bonus, a collector’s edition for the Nintendo Switch port has also been confirmed.
The collector’s edition, which will sell for $69, includes many physical goodies along with a cartridge of the game. This will include a 2-disc soundtrack, a 24-page Story booklet, piano sheet music for songs from the game, a collector’s box and a heart music box locket like the one seen in the game. Hopefully, this port will introduce the game to new Nintendo audiences, and give an opportunity for old fans to play it on the highly-portable Switch.
