The Entire Assassin’s Creed Franchise Explained With This Helpful Chart

The very first Assassin’s Creed released over 10 years ago and since then the franchise’s universe has expanded far beyond what many fans could have ever hoped for. With the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Odyssey being the 10th title in the core Assassin’s Creed franchise, it’s easy to get things mixed up and forget what appeared in each title. Thankfully, a dedicated fan has taken apart the titles within the franchise to help fans get better acquainted with the highly popular stealth-action series.

Reddit user Big_Diesel_Gaming took to the forums to showcase the common features that appear in each title from things like the Hidden Blade, Eagle Vision, Pieces of Eden and Leap of Faith, to features that didn’t appear quite as often such as Crouching, Whistles, and Naval Combat. The chart below even includes the upcoming Odyssey title which for the first time in the franchise’s history, does not have a Hidden Blade or the fight between the Assassins and Templars. Which of course makes sense given that the next entry predates every game thus far.

All that’s really missing are features such as the Blackbox missions of Unity and Syndicate, however they could be seen as a variation of Assassination missions.
