Fans have been getting pumped for the upcoming Fallout entry ever since the 24-hour livestream last month that led to the reveal of the title. During Bethesda’s E3 2018 conference, Todd Howard only brought that hype to new levels with more glorious details about Fallout 76. While the incoming title will have players focusing on the rebuilding of America, Bethesda is implementing the same determination in the real world.

The company recently announced that the cover of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” heard in the trailers for Fallout 76 will soon be released on iTunes. In addition to this, all proceeds from the song will be going to Habitat for Humanity.

In a statement from Bethesda, they said, “In the spirit of Fallout 76 and global rebuilding, we’re proud to team up with Habitat for Humanity; a global nonprofit working in local communities across all 50 states in the US and in more than 70 countries; to advance the vision that everyone deserves a decent place to call home.”

“Bethesda will donate 100% of its proceeds, with a minimum donation of $100,000, from sales of the single to Habitat for Humanity to assist in the organization’s goal of transforming lives and communities through affordable housing.”

This is certainly an admirable action on Bethesda’s part, and we will all soon be consumed by a new version of the John Denver classic, but now we’ll only think of Ron Perlman’s voice narrating a dark time over it. Fallout 76 is set to release on November 14 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The “Take Me Home, Country Roads” cover will hit iTunes on July 4th.
