Massive PUBG Roadmap Update To Be Revealed Soon
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds absolutely dominated the gaming landscape last year, and now that the battle royale game has left Steam’s early access program and launched for the Xbox One, fans are understandably wondering what’s coming next. While the addition of the desert map Miramar and the massively fun climbing and vaulting features added some extra depth to the game, the most recent updates haven’t exactly been thrilling its player base, focusing more on anti-cheat measures rather than new content. Now, it appears that that is about to change; it has been revealed that a PUBG roadmap for early 2018 is in the works by developer PUBG Corp.
The existence of an upcoming PUBG roadmap was revealed by Community Manager Sammie Kang, who recently took to Twitter to share the good news. Kang revealed that the dev team had been working on said roadmap for the better part of the last few weeks, and it was nearly time to share it with the game’s eager fan base. Here’s the Tweet:
Our dev team has been working on a dev roadmap for early 2018 in the past few weeks.
It's about time we update you on what's happening and where things are at. We will share this roadmap with you soon once we have finalized all the details.
Happy Valentine’s Day, btw.

While there is currently little to go on, there is some speculation that a third map for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently in development, and the upcoming roadmap detailing what’s to come may reveal its existence to the world. Said new map is rumored to be of an Adriatic nature, featuring snowy plains and mountain ranges for players to explore and battle across. It certainly makes sense from a thematic point of view, as PUBG Corp would likely be looking to do something substantially different from its first two maps, Erangel and Miramar.
PlayerUnknown’s Batltegrounds is now available for PC and Xbox One. The PUBG team is actively looking to bring the popular battle royale game to the PlayStation 4, though so far there hasn’t been any news confirming that the title will be making the console hop any time soon.
