New South Park: The Fractured But Whole Faction Trailers Want You to Pick a Side (VIDEO)
Considering that the sequel will be using a gameplay structure fairly similar to the first Ubisoft South Park game, The Stick of Truth, one of the bigger differences from the first game in the upcoming The Fractured But Whole game appears to be the switched focus from fantasy genre tropes to the world of superheroes. The game will feature the superhero personas of the main characters seen in episodes of the television series, thrusting players into the conflict between Cartman as The Coon and Kenny as Mysterion. Ubisoft has released new Fractured But Whole faction trailers that want you to pick a side in their civil war — check them out below:
The two new Fractured But Whole faction trailers have been posted to the official Ubisoft US YouTube channel, focusing on The Coon & Friends team, as well as Mysterion & The Freedom Pals. Much akin to the Captain America: Civil War comic and film storyline, everyone’s favorite collection of foul-mouthed schoolchildren have found their superhero group divided and fighting each other, in addition to their town’s criminals. The player’s avatar is the silent new kid in town and must choose a side in the conflict, which will certainly affect the player’s story experience.
No matter which side is chosen, players can still expect the same level of offensive humor and mayhem that the series is known for. Hopefully though, no characters will die in this war or, in Kenny’s case, die again. What do you guys think about these new The Fractured But Whole faction trailers? What side will you choose?
