Dota 2’s Upcoming ‘Dueling Fates’ Update Introduces 2 New Heroes (VIDEO)
During the Dota 2 International 2017 championships, Valve took the opportunity to introduce two new characters to their ever-popular MOBA. There were a few theories, but the most prevalent one being Sylph as the next hero and it seems it may have been true after all. However, they stepped up their game and revealed a second! His name? Zorro Armadillo. Check out the cinematic trailer presentation below for the upcoming ‘The Dueling Fates’ update:

With a simple look-a-round, it seems the Dota fanbase is very passionate about his being correctly labeled as a pangolin rather than an armadillo. Aside from that, what is known about Zorro is the fact that he is a melee character who wields a rapier, as well as his own body, for attacks. His clothing bright with hues of wine red and purple colors, the way he holds himself is akin to the namesake and general swashbuckler archetype.
His introduction is quite long in comparison to Sylph as fans and event attendees watch Zorro Armadillo slices his way through enemies in order to protect the forest from evil. Exhausted from the success of a job well done, it isn’t long before he encounters Sylph and, unfortunately, the experience is far from positive. After reassuring her that the forest was safe from harm, Sylph laughs in mockery before unleashing an attack.
