New DLC Expansion for Dishonored 2, Death of the Outsider, Gameplay Trailer Revealed (VIDEO)
Back at Bethesda’s E3 event a few months ago, the publisher announced a new standalone expansion for Dishonored 2 called Death of the Outsider, which will see players take on the role of former assassin Billie Lurk as she attempts a mission to bring down the adventure’s powerful and godlike Outsider. Killing a deity is predictably no easy task, so Billie employs the help of her mentor Daud to aid in her blood-spilling quest. Bethesda has now given gamers a new look at Death of the Outsider gameplay in a violently action-packed new trailer.

The newly released footage, which can be viewed above, offers plenty in the way of fresh supernatural abilities, gadgets, and weapons that will come in handy when facing off against the Outsider’s many followers. As with the main game, players can forego the spectacular killing side of Death of the Outsider gameplay and try using a non-lethal stealth approach, at least until reaching the titular Outsider. Voice talents for the new Dishonored 2 expansion include Rosario Dawson as Billie, Michael Madsen returning as Daud, and Robin Lord Taylor as the Outsider.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will launch for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 15th. What do you think? Are you excited to go kill some bad guys as Billie Lurk, or are you more partial to the stealth side of things?
