Sony released a new post on their official PlayStation blog that shares the new games being added for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This particularly pertains to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members, who can now access new additional games in the catalog via streaming or download. The big addition to this list is the brand new game Stray by Annapurna Interactive. The game has players control an adorable orange stray cat in a Cyberpunkish futuristic city who teams up with an intelligent drone named B-12. The next big game added to the lineup is the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. This is of course the reimagining of the classic PS One era RPG, with an added DLC side story featuring the character Yuffie as well as tech upgrades that take advantage of the PS5’s capabilities.
Another big recent title added to the PlayStation Plus July 2022 lineup includes Marvel’s Avengers. The Square Enix-backed project brings a new iteration of the superhero team to the modern gaming generation, complete with various online modes that help players connect with their friends and others in the wild world of Marvel. Lastly, the July lineup also includes five PS4-era Assassin’s Creed games, Saints Row IV and Jumanji the Video game. All of these titles are available now for Extra and Premium subscribers, and are absolutely must-haves for those springing for these advanced PlayStation Plus subscriptions.
