Play Rainbow Six Siege for Free This Weekend, Available on all Platforms
It’s a good time for everybody when publishers and developers host free-to-play weekends. Blizzard, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, and Bethesda have all done it at and for good reason. It lets skeptical gamers try out a game without the need to purchase. In this case, Ubisoft will give curious gamers an opportunity to play Rainbow Six Siege for free. From February 2nd through the 5th, it will be available for all current platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Yes, that means it’s happening this weekend! Not sure how to get started? - PC: If you’ve got Uplay, perfect. All you need to do is follow the steps here, once the free event begins. If you click on it now, it will just lead you to the Sales page – just saying!
- Duration: February 2 (1pm EST) to February 5 (4pm EST)
- PlayStation 4: Visit the Rainbow Six product page on the PlayStation Network. Unfortunately, a PlayStation Plus membership is needed in order to play Rainbow Six Siege online. Want a 14-day free trial of PS+ to connect with friends and other players? Get started here!
- Duration: February 2 (1pm EST) to February 6 (1pm EST)
- Xbox One: Visit the Rainbow Six Siege product page on the Xbox Store. Players will need a Xbox Live Gold membership to play online.
- Duration: February 2 (3:01am EST) to February 6th (2:59am EST)
Oddly enough, the duration of the free-to-play weekend varies per platform. Otherwise, players participating in the event this weekend will be granted access to all maps, modes, and Operators. This allows everyone to reap the benefits of a full-version experience. By the time it is all over, and you’re interested in purchasing the entire game for yourself – Rainbow Six Siege will be discounted at 50% off, for a limited time only.
