The highly anticipated final season of Netflix’s Castlevania series is nearly upon us, with the season scheduled to debut on the streaming service on May 13. Ahead of its arrival, Netflix has shared a new batch of images providing a glimpse of what’s to come in what will presumably be an all-out battle between Belmont, Sypha, Alucard, and the vampiric Council of Sisters.

The gallery of images above shows quite a few intriguing shots of the final season of Netflix’s Castlevania. We see our conflicted-yet-still-adorable Alucard sporting his shield, which originally debuted in Symphony of the Night. We are also treated to a shot of the ever mysterious Saint Germain (voiced by Bill Nighy) in the “Infinite Corridor” he chucked himself into in the season 3 finale. Forgemaster Isaac appears to be continuing on the path he set himself upon throughout season 3, while elsewhere Hector and Lenore share a quiet moment away from the other vampire sisters.

While Netflix has kept the majority of the plot of the final season of Castlevania mostly a secret, the recent trailer for the show that debuted last week sees Belmont and Sypha return to Wallachia, “where it all began.” There are also hints that Vlad may be resurrected, which could be an intriguing turn of events given his son’s fresh distaste of humans. Here’s the official plot blurb from Netflix:

“Wallachia collapses into chaos as factions clash: some attempting to take control, others attempting to bring Dracula back from the dead. Nobody is who they seem, and nobody can be trusted. These are the end times.”

The final season of Castlevania debuts on May 13th exclusively on Netflix.
