After releasing its premier game subscription service on consoles, Microsoft has since increased the presence of Xbox Game Pass to encompass Windows PC players as well, with the promise of providing a distinctly PC-centric experience. While the platform’s lineup has seen incredible updates over its year-plus lifespan, the most substantial addition yet is now finally coming as Electronic Arts’ own service EA Play is added to Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Awaiting fans were greeted with the news in a new Xbox Wire post, which confirmed a selection of 60 games from EA Play would join Xbox Game Pass for PC on March 18th — specifically at 2:00 p.m. PT / 4:00 p.m. CT / 5:00 p.m. ET. While the post didn’t share specifics about which EA games were making the cut, high-profile titles like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars: Squadrons, Titanfall 2, and Need for Speed Heat were specifically confirmed for the service alongside additions from the Battlefield, Madden NFL, Command & Conquer, and The Sims franchises.

First announced last September, EA Play was revealed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC at no additional cost, with users able to enjoy a selection of EA titles for the simple cost of membership. This partnership not only bolsters the Game Pass library by a considerable margin, but also adds tons of value to the PC variant by making EA Play available at no additional cost — an option currently not available for the console version of the service.

According to this new announcement, the arrival of EA Play will also grant access to a new set of exclusive monthly perks, with March yielding such content as “Gold Team Fantasy MUT packs and an EA Play Celebration Pack for Madden 21, a N7 Weapon Charm for Apex Legends and more.” On top of that, members also get service-exclusive in-game content and rewards as well as discounts on digital EA purchases as well as access to 10-hour game trials for “best-loved franchises and top titles.”
