GameStop Receives More NES Classic Consoles This Week – Limited Supply

NES Classic Consoles

The NES Classic consoles sold out nearly instantaneously upon their release. It was a shame, really, because the system had great potential to provide gamers with a dose of nostalgia. Well, it did, but not for as many as it should have. This was due to lack of supply when the demand for NES Classic consoles was high. Very high, in fact. However, Nintendo did not anticipate the overwhelming reception the mini console received. That brings us to now.

The land has been cold and barren, with few NES Classic consoles in sight. These have been troubling times in the kingdom, but the people will persevere. Especially now that GameStop is beginning to receive new shipments of the tiny system of nostalgia this week. According to several reports on Twitter, the NES Classic Edition has begun making its way back into GameStop stores, but the supply is limited. Like, “two consoles per store” limited.

It has also been said that shoppers can only purchase one console. This is good for those who have not been able to get their hands on one at a fair price, and bad for those who have been trying to make a few extra dollars on eBay. Speaking of shady happenings, here is every cheat code you need to know for the NES Classic Edition. You know, just in case you are into that kind of thing.

So, what do you think, gamers? Will you be calling your local GameStop on the hunt for the allusive NES Classic consoles? Did you already stop reading and call them? Any luck?
