Hot Wheels revealed a brand new Mario Kart item to their collection of toys! Based on the iconic Rainbow Road course from the Nintendo franchise, it’s the perfect raceway to add to any enthusiast’s collection. It’s also one way to get your kids into an early obsession with the Mario franchise.

According to the early Amazon listing, Hot Wheels’ Rainbow Road Raceway playset launches on May 29th, 2021 and comes complete with two karts — Mario and King Boo. Check out the gallery below for a sneak peek:

This Mario Kart-inspired Hot Wheels playset weighs in at a hefty 10.22 pounds at 40.35 by 48.03 by 27.4 inches. To get the full effect of the Rainbow Road Raceway, you’ll need three triple-A batteries. The company has not detailed a specific price point yet, but it is set for release in a couple months!

Hot Wheels carries an entire collection of replica die-cast vehicles for some of the most iconic characters from the Mario franchise, including Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Koopa Troopa, Rosalina, Waluigi, Toad, Bowser, and more. Just announced for MAR10 day last week, they officially revealed a collection of karts featuring an exclusive Red Yoshi, P-Wing Super Glider, Mario with a standard kart and Parafoil Glider plus Bowser with a Kite Glider. It’s currently listed for $45.99 on the Hot Wheels website.
