PlayStation Plus Free Games For August 2020 Revealed
With a new month just around the corner, that means gamers subscribed to their favorite services are about to receive some new games for free. When it comes to those who are PlayStation Plus members, Sony has officially revealed which titles will be included in the August 2020 lineup, and they are definitely not small games.
It was revealed that PlayStation Plus member will get something from the past and something that has not been released just yet. Beginning tomorrow, July 28th, members will be able to download and play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, a fully remastered version of the popular 2009 title’s single-player campaign. However, the fun does not stop there as the upcoming party game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will become available next week on August 4th, which is when the title launches.

In case you don’t know what either of the titles are all about, here’s more:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered
“Following immediately on from the dramatic events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered immerses you in a gripping, action-driven adventure in which you must face off against a deadly new threat hellbent on bringing the world to the brink of collapse.”
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
“Survive a series of hilarious challenges until one victor remains in this colorful 60-person online multiplayer party game! Test your mettle in brutal free-for-alls or co-op challenges where only the winning team advances to the next round. Bend, bounce and bash your way through hilarious physics-based obstacles, from smashing through doors, to balancing on massive see-saws, to racing up mountains riddled with traps.”
In addition to the free PlayStation Plus games being offered up, there will also be a free online multiplayer weekend available on August 8th and 9th for those who are not subscribed and would like to play online. There is also a free PS Plus 10th Anniversary PS4 Theme that is available in the PS Store for a limited time. This, of course, means that July’s titles are almost off the table, so be sure to grab those before they are gone.
