Modern Warfare DLC Pipeline To Be The Largest In Call of Duty History
There are still a couple months to go before this year’s Call of Duty installment is released, but with the recent multiplayer reveal, fans are more excited than ever to get their hands on Modern Warfare. That said, there is another reason to get excited as Activision has revealed that the upcoming title will have the largest DLC pipeline the series has seen.
Activision recently held their second quarter earnings call, during which they brought up the inbound Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It was already known that this year’s installment will have some downloadable content, but it was not known how much. During the call, chief operating officer Coddy Johnson brought up the DLC that will be featured in Modern Warfare and the fact that it will be the biggest pipeline of DLC in series history.
“Fans will get a first taste of the action in our multiplayer open beta in September,” Johnson said. “We have a number of surprises in store after that, including the largest post-launch content pipeline in franchise history.” Of course, the series has seen plenty of DLC over the years, so this is certainly quite the statement to be made by the COO. Either way, at least we know there will be an abundance of content with Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be launching on October 25th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
