New No Man's Sky "Beyond" Trailer Shows Off New Features (VIDEO)

While its release was polarizing, to say the least, No Man’s Sky has had quite the comeback story. Fans that were let down by the title’s underwhelming launch found themselves believing again after Hello Games released the “NEXT” update for No Man’s Sky in July 2018. This update gave No Man’s Sky its full multiplayer capability, with players finally able to find and interact with each other in the universe. Since then, the team hasn’t rested on its laurels, as they are gearing up to release another new update in the form of No Man’s Sky BEYOND. Check out the launch trailer for the update below:

As you can see from this trailer, the upcoming No Man’s Sky update contains a significant amount of new content. This includes new, more diverse biomes for worlds in the universe, a shared social space called the Nexus, and VR support on PC and PlayStation 4 consoles. The Nexus will be the first opportunity for players who’ve found rare loot and crafted amazing ships to show them off to strangers. A press release stated that while the team wanted to maintain the isolation and loneliness that can typically be found in No Man’s Sky, they recognized that some players would really love the feature. You can check out all the new features coming in the new No Man’s Sky update when it releases on August 14th for all platforms.
