Swatting Prank Targets 12 Year Old Fortnite Player During Livestream (VIDEO)
Swatting has become an infamous form of pranking over the years, one that seemingly grows more senseless with each horrible occurrence. The unfortunate trend sends police to the home of an unsuspecting victim under the false guise of a violent threat, with the resulting home invasion and forceful arrest played for laughs by idiotic pranksters. The latest instance of this prank saw a 12 year old Fortnite player swatted in the middle of his own livestream.
Fortnite player Peter “Rolly Ranchers” Varady is very much on the young side of the streaming spectrum, but regardlessly saw a big increase in viewership thanks in no small part to YouTuber Cizzorz. Having teamed up with Varady in a popular Battle Royale video, this brought many eyes to the youngster’s channel, but not all of these new viewers had the best of intentions.

It wasn’t long before one of Varady’s subsequent streams were interrupted with swatting. The video above depicts the incident as it happened with law enforcement responding to a call claiming the boy and his mother were threatening to kill themselves. Fortunately, the prank was easily disproved and didn’t result in any police force or arrest.
This type of situation is extremely heartbreaking to witness and it’s very fortunate that events didn’t escalate. It was only a few months ago when a particularly heated instance of swatting ended with an innocent man’s death. The unprecedented killing left a loving family in shambles, but justice was eventually found when the swat caller was charged with involuntary manslaughter for his crimes.
