Nintendo Announces The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC Pass (VIDEO)

Wild DLC Pass

From the looks of it, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be one of the biggest games Nintendo will have created. Not only is the world expansive with plenty of fun things to do, you get to reunite with Epona, and go dungeon delving! Beginning March 3rd, players have the chance to purchase the Breath of the Wild DLC pass for $20.00. Even though you will be receiving the game in its entirety, the Season Pass offers extra content which are completely optional. The adorable Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, personally announces it to the public in a short video. Check out the clip below:

The season pass can be purchased at any point after March 3rd, but it’s certainly better to know about these things sooner than later! In comparison to the rest of the gaming industry’s market, twenty dollars isn’t bad for additional gameplay. However, there’s a lot of goodies to be had. Here’s what it offers:

  • Breath of the Wild DLC Pass/Expansion Pass
    • 3 new Treasure Chests found in the Great Plateau
    • Contains useful items
    • Includes exclusive in-game clothing
      • T-shirt with a Nintendo Switch logo
  • DLC Pack 1 (Releases Summer 2017)
    • Adds new Cave of Trials challenge
    • New ‘Hard Mode’
    • Additional Map feature
  • DLC Pack 2
    • New original story
    • New Dungeon
    • Additional challenges

While the itemization may look confusing, the Breath of the Wild DLC Pass includes all of the above. They will be released at different times. More than likely, the team at Nintendo is still working on the DLC content and polishing some details. The Legend of Zelda: BotW will release
