Xbox’s Games With Gold September 2017 Titles Have Been Announced (VIDEO)
Xbox Live Gold members have another great month to look forward to. As per the usual format, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will receive four free games next month, two Xbox One titles and two Xbox 360 titles, all of which will be playable on Xbox One. Check out the video from Xbox’s Major Nelson to see which Games with Gold September 2017 titles await:
For Xbox One owners: Throughout the entire month of September, Forza Motorsport 5: Game of the Year Edition will be available as a free download with Gold subscription. Deemed as one of the greatest racing franchises of all time, Forza Motorsport 5 is asphalt shredding, white-knuckle racing at its finest. The Game of the Year Edition includes the Top Gear DLC car pack, which offers ten additional cars inspired by the hit television series. The free Forza 5 download has arrived at a seemingly perfect time as Forza 7 is slated to release in October of this year.
The second Xbox One Games With Gold September 2017 title is Oxenfree and it will be available from September 16th through October 15th. Oxenfree follows Alex, a teenager visiting a mysterious island with his pals. Alex and his friends “accidentally” awaken supernatural forces, and it is up to them to figure out what they’re dealing with and how to stop it. The title is extremely dialogue based and plays more like a graphic adventure.
September will also bring a pair of Xbox 360 titles, both of which will be playable on Xbox One consoles via backwards compatibility. The first 360 title Gold subscribers can obtain for free from September 1st through 15th is Hydro Thunder: Hurricane, an intense arcade style speedboat racing game. The second Xbox 360 in the queue is Battlefield 3 and will be available from September 16th through 30th. The war-themed first-person shooter Battlefield 3 is the 11th title in the franchise from EA and DICE.
